Residential home sales in British Columbia fell 4.8% in August compared to last year, totaling $5.2 billion, and remain 25.4% below the 10-year August average. The average provincial home price dropped about 1% to $924,826. Sales volume decreased 5.5% with 46,069 homes sold. Greater Vancouver saw a 1.3% price decline to $1.21 million and a 3.6% sales drop. Year-to-date sales are down 6.5% to $43.26 billion.
